Why The Perch Exists
The Perch was created to inspire something simple, yet often overlooked: intentional presence.
In our world of constant motion, we believe the moments we share with others deserve our attention.
A conversation over coffee. A laugh during a game. An idea sparked between friends or colleagues. These moments may seem small, but they are the building blocks of strong communities, great teams, and meaningful relationships.
The Perch exists to create space for those moments to happen.

While The Perch is a specialty coffee shop with specialty board games to play, its higher aims are to cultivate belonging, engage with every moment as something personal, and to create lasting memories.
We want to be intentionally present in your moments with us and cultivate a space where you can be intentionally present with others.

Jacob Williams
Jacob has been an entrepreneur largely in the SaaS industry most of his life building new businesses, teams, and products. He is a mentor for Holly Springs Launch program and was a co-founder of Downtown Alive.

Jacob’s overall focus area at The Perch is to ensure it delivers its promise whether that is through hospitality, supporting the team, or creating an engaging environment at the cafe.
“My aim is simple, I want to make a positive impact on every person in my “splash zone” everyday by leaning into their life, learning from them, and encouraging them to aim high.”
Laurean Leigh
Laurean is an entrepreneur bringing a strong mix of unique talents to The Perch. She has spent twenty years making a positive impact on others as an illustrator, convention coordinator, Girl Scouts leader, entertainer, and educator.

Laurean’s focus at The Perch involves the community and guest experience. She ensures engaging experiences, organizes events, and brings community connections to our Arena!

Adam has been leading corporate risk management teams for over 14 years, been a speaker at several conferences, started a small business renting arcade machines, and has been playing board games since he learned not to knock over the tiny soldiers on the Risk board.

Adam’s focus at the Perch is to support our library of board games so all customers can find what they’re looking for, get a good suggestion when they need one, and can trust all pieces are there.
